THE GARDENER IN YOU

THE GARDENER IN YOU   A Mission-Driven Life Wins A Daystar Masterpiece on Purpose Who you truly are in God can never remain hidden forever. Time, familiarity, or ordinary surroundings may delay recognition, but they cannot erase divine purpose. What the Lord has spoken concerning your life will eventually be revealed. Jesus walked closely with His disciples for about three years after beginning His ministry at around the age of thirty. They ate with Him, travelled with Him, and witnessed His miracles daily. Yet even in His resurrection, His mission still spoke louder than familiarity. In one of the most profound moments in Scripture, Mary Magdalene mistook the risen Christ for a gardener. Though she did not immediately recognize Him, the symbolism of that moment is powerful. Jesus, the Last Adam, came to restore what was lost through the first Adam, the Gardner in Eden. The resurrection in a garden beautifully reflects God’s plan of restoration, life, and renewed fellow...

CONTRA MUNDUM

CONTRA MUNDUM Mindsets Against This World A Daystar Masterpiece On Diligence Faith and prosperity are married principles that cannot be divorced over a simple misunderstanding of what they mean. Jesus is the greatest personality that ever walked amongst men, and His exemplary character and leadership speaks volumes. You would notice on several occasions, He categorised His mission to earth as a form of work. He often said, “I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day,” choosing the term work, also translated as business in the Greek. As it is a requirement for a business to constitute strategic players, Jesus is seen not to have chosen religious Levites or zealots as part of His disciples. Rather, His chosen were men who knew how to take risks—people whose lives were spent beyond themselves. The call of Elisha is no different; the pattern is clear that God does not reward idleness with a call to greatness. Now, as disciples of Christ Jesus, remember that God cherish...

LIKE TEMPERED GLASS

LIKE TEMPERED GLASS How Pressure Builds You Strong  A Daystar Masterpiece On Leadership   The process of making tempered glass is strikingly different from that of regular glass, and once made, reshaping the product becomes impossible because the process becomes irreversible. Tempered glass is a specially strengthened type of glass produced through extreme heating followed by rapid cooling. This process transforms the internal structure of the glass, making it far tougher and safer than ordinary glass. Scripture declares that every sacrifice shall be seasoned with fire, not salt. The training process of a leader is often misunderstood because people rarely comprehend the structure behind his making. A leader is a steward fashioned to protect the interests of God in others. Like tempered glass, the preparation of a leader is designed for the safety and preservation of others. Such a leader is built through tests of integrity, trust, endurance, and autarky — simulati...

GREED, THE EVIDENCE OF SMALL THINKING

GREED, THE EVIDENCE OF SMALL THINKING A Daystar Masterpiece On Business  Greed is the evidence of small thinking. No mind that aims for more is ready to throw away the ladder of precious relationships for monopoly. A mind truly built for greatness never destroys the very bridges that sustain expansion. Greed narrows vision. It obsesses over immediate possession while ignoring the long-term value of trust, loyalty, relationships, and strategic alliances. A person with a large mind understands that lasting increase is not built by monopoly alone, but by meaningful connections, shared value, and preserved relationships. The higher you rise, the more you realize that people are not obstacles to success — they are often the ladders through which opportunities, wisdom, favor, access, and influence arrive. Greed sacrifices tomorrow for today. Wisdom preserves what is precious for greater multiplication ahead. Those who think small hoard everything for themselves. Those who think bi...

KINGS AND PRIESTS

KINGS AND PRIESTS  Which Office Do We Hold Today ?  A Daystar Masterpiece On Business  Religiosity and mysticism are what have undermined the Body of Christ from advancing financially. And if you're conflicted as to whether you should engage in business and commerce or simply devote your whole life to church work, unless by divine instruction, pay attention to this important counsel from the Bible. Many Christians today hide under the mask of Proverbs 23:4 to justify their laziness and self-pity, though the Scripture itself is simply a warning against obsession with wealth. The verse reads, “Labour not to be rich.” What they have not yet realized is that there is a huge difference between practice in the Old Testament and the New Testament. You could not hold the office of both king and priest in the Old Testament; you could only be one. Priests were not assigned lands to avert any reason for self-defense later, so the Lord became their inheritance. Also, Joseph di...

THE LATIN CRUCIFIX

THE LATIN CRUCIFIX Understanding Purpose A Daystar Masterpiece on Sacrifice What is purpose? Why are you here? What comes next, and what if every pursuit remains meaningless? What is life hereafter, and how does it feel to exit this cosmic space as a hypostatic figure? What is the objective of faith if it remains enclosed within a callous heart? Where does mission fit into our daily living? What is the cure for a bruised soul in a dark and festering world? What can be done, and what awaits us hereafter? These are the questions we deeply fear and answer slowly. It is why we often turn our eyes away from the true reason for existence, ignoring the glare of mission in a world we encountered in time. Why we live is what will echo throughout eternity. Each day clangs against another, foretelling a story without words and weaving a tapestry of impact with the hands of sacrifice. Someday, we will surely leave this world. Now, it is incumbent upon you to discover the meaning of life in C...

THE ROLE OF DISCOMFORT

THE ROLE OF DISCOMFORT Discontinuing Unwanted Habits There are things that multiply in our lives because of excess comfort. Discomfort has a way of curbing unwanted patterns, thus severing the growth of destructive habits and routines that fight progress. Many unhealthy desires thrive in environments of ease, convenience, and unchecked indulgence. Pressure, discipline, and necessary hardship often expose what comfort conceals. It was not until the early twentieth century that world population began to skyrocket into the billions because of the advancement of science and medicine to combat diseases that were once major contributors to the decline of demographic population after pandemics and widespread outbreaks. What formerly restrained population growth was gradually subdued by innovations that reduced discomfort, pain, and mortality. Interestingly, the word “disease” can be viewed as “dis-ease” — the absence of ease or comfort. Though linguistically the word has a deeper etymol...

STAY IN YOUR LANE

STAY IN YOUR LANE Comparison weakens concentration This life is a race, yet not a competition. It takes grit and decisive action to stay dominant in this world. You have a role to play if you'll ever make a difference early in this life. My counsel to you is that you learn to stay in your lane, run your race and mind your business if you’ll ever be productive. This way, you’ll have more time to develop yourself and prepare for what lies before you. Learn the discipline to focus on your track, to stay alone when necessary, and to use your mind thoroughly to construct a future that counts. Add value to your path. We will each be confronted with customized formats of obstacles that suit our individual purpose. This requires hyper-focus to remain progressive. What distracts one person may not distract another. What breaks one man may be the very thing designed to strengthen another. Your journey is unique, and so are the battles attached to it. Your assignment is not to compete with ...

OUR EFFORTS ARE EVERLASTING SEEDS

OUR EFFORTS ARE EVERLASTING SEEDS They’ll Never Go Unnoticed Not long ago, a circa two-thousand-year-old seed was discovered — one at Masada (a fortress), and others in the Qumran Caves (a cave region). These seeds, having survived two millennia, were found to still be viable — a remarkable demonstration of seed longevity under preserved conditions. When subjected to the right conditions, the seeds sprouted. The seed from Masada produced a male date palm (which did not bear fruit), while other ancient seeds from the Qumran region later produced female trees that yielded edible fruit. This is deeply revelatory of the power of a seed — whether as a thought, deed, or action. These inputs never go unnoticed. They may lie dormant, but they sprout when the time is right. Indeed, God cannot be mocked — whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). My dear, I encourage you: press on in that deed and action. Commit yourself fully to the business and ministry you are involve...

YOU’RE WORTH EVERY GOOD EXPERIENCE

YOU’RE WORTH EVERY GOOD EXPERIENCE Never Belittle Yourself, Ever You have a choice in enjoying the blessings of God. The Lord will not force His goodness upon your life—you must be willing to open your heart to new experiences, irrespective of past outcomes. Be fully persuaded that there is a better life in Christ. In 2 Samuel 19, David desired to show kindness to Barzillai in his old age, inviting him to come and be sustained at the king’s table. But Barzillai declined, not out of dishonor, but because he felt limited by age and no longer able to fully enjoy such privileges (2 Samuel 19:35–37). Though his decision was personal, he saw himself as a burden in the face of opportunity. His perspective was faulty and by that, He missed a good opportunity.  This reveals something profound: sometimes, what is meant to bless us can be declined because of how we see ourselves or what we believe we can handle or enjoy. My dear, nothing is too good for you. You are worth every brand-n...

EVERY PHASE OF YOUR LIFE IS USEFUL

EVERY PHASE OF YOUR LIFE IS USEFUL  Never Underestimate Your Potentials It is unfortunate how our world often prioritizes secular activity above the impact of godly allegiance. Yet Scripture reveals a higher order. Psalms 92:13-19 paraphrased states,      "Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God… they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing.". The courts of our God represents the outside world. To put succinctly, your service and commitment in the house of God is your guarantee of an ever flourishing life in the business world out there. Commit to the house of God, and you'll flourish outside : in the courts : in your engagements, your business and activities. The opening Scripture contextually alludes us to the date palm, an all useful species that thrives on barren soil. Listen, regardless of your background, you have an innate (God-embedded) potential to thrive on every side...

YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO SEE WHAT GOD SEES

YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO SEE WHAT GOD SEES We Have The Mind Of Christ  “…by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature , having escaped the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” | Second Epistle of Peter 1:4.  Having the mind of Christ is one of the most extraordinary revelations and reality we have today. If you'd believe this truth, you'll be a superman demonstrating God-kind ideas in a human world. Consider the craniopagus (head-joined congenital defect) of the popular Hogan twins (Krista and Tatiana, born 2006).         Study shows they were joined at the head with separate brains interconnected by a "thalamic bridge" — what stood out for me was the fact that they shared a neural pathway. This meant one twin could actually see what the other twin was seeing. My goodness!     I was stunned at this medical discovery, that there was e...
