Every kind of relationship, be it romantic or mutual friendship, when not governed by the word of God ends up in hurt, abuse, abrasive contentions, disloyalty and betrayals. It's only a matter of time if these are not already happening, the inevitable will surely be pronounced and visible in that relationship if it's not subject to the Word of God.      Outside the discipline and standard of God's word, godly relationships become open to unrighteous thoughts and actions. Proverbs 1:3|TPT reveals “Those who cling to these words will receive discipline to demonstrate wisdom (righteousness) in every relationship and to choose what is right and just and fair”.     1 Corinthians:13:7 |TLB speaks bluntly, “If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost.   PROTECTING PRECIOUS FRIENDSHIPS Make The First Move  You are to covet gifts, you don't wait for them to move towards you. This is what the scriptures teach us to do : To act with urgency when goodly relationships begin to slip beyond our grapple.      The Relationships and friendships we develop with the people we know are precious gifts from God, and if the presence of that person makes you better and prolific in your endeavors, the onus and duty lies on you to covet and earnestly desire to seek every possible way to protect that gift with all you've got.    Earnestly desire spiritual gifts, have an attitude of urgency. And if you offend or misstep, apologize and don't ever leave anything to the void of assumption. Put aside diplomacy and express your desire for stability in that friendship. Gifts must be coveted, you should always show that you value that friendship and relationship with every bit of your being, go to every length to make it stand ...

  YOU CAN BE BETTER, YES YOU CAN Moving Past Mistakes & Regrets You cannot reverse the process of decay, but you sure can slow down the process of further decay in a living tissue. You can't alter the taste of fresh meat gone bad, but you can subject it to low temperatures and nitrogen-enriched environments that inhibit further decay.      There are habits and past mistakes you cannot undo nor erase, it's already happened, you cannot reverse it, but you can stop it from continuing. There are compromising situations and unhealthy patterns your flesh has tasted, and you cannot undo that chemistry, all you can do is to deny that thing power over you by moving on and getting better in new environments.       The past should pass away to you, so you can enjoy and live with the present for the future.   THE LORD IS YOUR LIGHT, NOT YOUR BLACK You're Not Black, You're Divine  You living on the continent of Africa doesn't make you black. Probably your attention was never drawn to the reality that black is not a color, never was it listed on the color wheel you did in Basic physics. Black is the absence of color, progress and brilliant brightness. It's an euphemism for death and retrogression. The Lord is your light, He's not black (Psalms 27).     To admit and confess blackness as your identity, origin and root is to gradually damage yourself mentally. It's proven to be an effective way to train a society to adapt to inferiority and subservience as a fabric of norm : attuned to helplessness until foreign aid is induced. If you were proudly black, today marks the end of that injurious talk. Choose your words carefully, never identity as an black African, you simply live on that continent but you came from God, don't just repeat what the masses chant.    ...
