Be careful when satan whispers “sweet nothings” to you to leave a church for whichever reason.

Remember, he is so wicked and deceptive that he can make rotten counsel smell like fragrant strawberries, demanding compliance, until it is too late.

1 John 4:5–6, AMP
“…therefore they speak from the [viewpoint of the] world [with its immoral freedom and baseless theories—demanding compliance with their opinions (whispers) and ridiculing the values of the upright], and the [gullible (fleshy) people of the] world listen closely and pay attention to them. We [who teach God’s Word] are from God [energized by the Holy Spirit]… By this we know [without any doubt] the spirit of truth [motivated by God] and the spirit of error [motivated by Satan].”

Only be motivated by God’s Word when making decisions. Otherwise, according to Scripture above, you are in great error. 

Never leave a church simply because of an offense. That is blatant error.

Jesus said that many shall be offended and betray one another. This Scripture must be fulfilled, but make up your mind that you will not be the one to act it out!

Walk in love. That is how to walk in the Spirit.
Be different!

Rather, choose people and walk away from the offense—not the other way around.
