YOU'RE THE LIGHT OF THAT COMPANY

YOU'RE THE LIGHT OF THAT COMPANY

If you're a team leader, a captain or a manager of a business with a team under your watch and supervision. If you've been experiencing some losses of any kind with your team, listen, now is not the time to get tired and retreat, rather, it's time to talk the word of God.

Let's practice righteousness (1John 3:7,10), now let's affirm John 8:12 with a united front, declare boldly,

“I am the light of the world (my team) : he that follows me shall not (no longer) walk in darkness (losses and confusion), but shall have the light (a new direction) of life (and fruitfulness, in this business or leadership)”. Listen, God's word is for you, it's your life, so learn to personalize it everyday!

Isaiah the prophet in Isaiah 53Vs2-3 enlightens us on Jesus' condition on Golgotha, He spoke of Jesus, describing him as one with no looks of royalty, no beauty to look at, nothing of him got anyone's attention, the one from whom people hid their faces, men despised and disrespected him.

Interestingly, this is the exact opposite for you in Christ, your conduct should never reduce your results, people should not hide their faces from you, they should come towards you like they did to Jesus in His hypostatic union. Expect this in your leadership today, and be conscious that you've been called to lead people in the light, into profit and not losses, declare that you're a good leader with light and direction, and like you'd agree with me that everyone loves light once it serves a good purpose, and that is who you are, the light of your team. Wow!

It is time you give rapt and maximum attention to God in His word, because the word of God is God talking to you. In 1Timothy 4:15-16, Paul wrote to young leader Timothy “Think on these things. Devote your life to them so that everyone can see your progress. Pay close attention to your life and your teaching. Persevere in these things, because if you do so, you will save both yourself and those who listen to you”

It's important you know who you are as a leader and what you bring to the table. The verse above informs us on the reward of diligence and commitment to God's word, Paul, an experienced and successful leader writes, “you will save both yourself and those who listen to you”.

As a leader with influence, having people who listen to you, it's so important you recognize your value as the light, so those following you will no longer walk in darkness and confusion. It's time to stop passing blames, take responsibility and lead your team in a manner of success they've not experienced before.

And until you can mount the flag of success at the zenith of your potentials, don't ever sit, press forward and upward, and don't come back home until you win. David in Psalms 132:4-5 put it this way “I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the LORD”. This is the voice of success, a determined achiever.

II Samuel 11:11 |BSB recounts,

“Uriah answered David, “The ark and Israel and Judah are dwelling in tents, and my master Joab and his soldiers are camped in the open field. How can I go to my house to eat and drink and sleep with my wife? As surely as you live, and as your soul lives, I will not do such a thing!”

Uriah, a mighty man with David, also had this mindset, he learnt it from David, to the point he refused to visit his wife's bed until he'd won the battle before him. In Isaiah 62:7-8, the prophet also declared, “You who make mention of the Lord (as your confidence of success), take no rest, and give Him no rest until he prepares, establishes and makes Jerusalem (your life, as a city), a song of praise throughout the earth”.

Listen, you can't do much if you don't know how to forget what is behind and pressing forward to what is before you. You have to learn to insist on the reality you are in God's word, become skillful with getting it right in this life.

And until you find a place to mount the flag of what God has said for all to see, give no comfort to your bed, press forward and upward with words of prophecy, and shine as a leader. Wow!

And how this signals one's readiness for commitment — stating that the first step towards anything relationship : is "being honest with yourself", and not following the crowd into one of life's most important decisions, thus, the choice of love and romantic commitment. On the note of honesty, he sited an instance from a legend where an elephant and a mice were to cross a bridge. The mice couldn't proceed because it would fall through the...

AN UNDER-ACHIEVED PERSON IS NEVER AN AUTHORITY FOR YOU

AN UNDER-ACHIEVED PERSON IS NEVER AN AUTHORITY FOR YOU  On the path to greatness there are lots of things you would have to face, but one of the things you must not face is public opinion about you, it ought not to mean anything to you, only God's word should mean everything to you.  Listen to your leader and to God, and let their words and report about you drown every other voice with Focus! One time my Pastor, Rev. Hutchison, said to me, and that was addressed directly, he stated : “sometimes the only way you master skill at a thing is by doing it continually”. Then I learnt you don't develop skill and excellence by listening to opinions, you develop skill by sticking to instructions and practice. Thus, by doing what you must do, regardless.  Let me make this very simple for you : “never respect, esteem or hold highly the words of people who have an opinion for you about something they haven't yet accomplished”. In your relation with such a person, you must consc...
