DETERMINATION IS A FORCE

ONCE YOU BECOME DETERMINED TO WIN, HE'LL COME FOR YOU, I TELL YOU!

Anytime you make up your mind, determined to do something big, remember this, the enemy will come for you. This is why you must be steadfast and immovable in the word of God and prayer, fast and pray, it's too important once you become determined to do what God called you to do.

When God gives you a vision, remember it's his eyes He's given to you, and He's expecting you to see from that perspective. The visions He gives are His visions, and the results you'll get are His results.

For instance, In Genesis 7:17, God said “I will strike the waters which are in the river Nile with the rod that is in my hand, and they shall be turned to blood. ”. God used the first person pronoun “I”, yet in Verse 20, we're told “So Aaron lifted up the rod and struck the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants. And all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood”. Think about that!

Here were seeing that it's Aaron who actually manifested (performed) that thing (noun-word) God spoke earlier. And by acting on God's word, Aaron got the exact results God predicted for Himself, he just stepped into those shoes and walked in them. He stood in for God like Elihu, and got the same result God said He would get in Egypt. Wow!

My dear, take this thing seriously, and make up your mind that “I have to get it done at any cost for my God”, and by engaging spiritual activities continually, Satan has no chance in stopping you. In view of this, Paul writes in Colossians 4:17 saying “And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry (position of service) which thou hast received in the Lord, that you fulfil it”. Until you stand your ground on the word of God, and on what God says to you, hear me, you cannot beat down the forces that rise against a determined achiever.

Listen, the enemy hates determined minds, and that was why he persecuted Paul throughout his ministry, it was all because the Apostle was a determined minister. In 1 Corinthians 2:2 he said “For I (Paul) determined not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified”.

In Thessalonians 2:18 |NET, the Apostle admits to something so important, he wrote, “For we wanted to come to you (I, Paul, in fact tried again and again) but Satan thwarted (hindered, grieved, withstood) us”. Paul, the Apostle who spoke in tongues than all, was withstood by forces of darkness just as Daniel's Angel in Daniel 10:13 was withstood by the Spiritual Prince of Persia.

Listen, multiple trials isn't enough certainty to get something done, especially if it's to the glory of God, you'll be withstood until you beat down those forces with the word of God in your mouth like a two-edged sword : it's never automatic when you see people making giant strides, and that is where determination comes in, here nothing else makes sense until you accomplish what you're determined to see.

Pharoah (the enemy) must see that you know what you want, then he'll let you go. Determination is a powerful tool, Elijah displayed it in prayer when he sent his servant to check for rain on successive occasions, he was a determined leader, poised on producing rain after three and half years of drought, and that determination by one man, provoked the supernatural in an entire nation, Israel.

On other occasions he displayed a rather more rugged will and determination as proof of his identity and ability, so he said “If I be a man of God”, another time he said “I am jealous for the God of Israel”, and it's of no wonder how his determination created havoc for the demons of baal.

1 Kings 18:36-39|NIV narrates,

“At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.

Answer me, LORD, answer me, so these people will know that you, LORD, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.”

Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.

When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The LORD—he is God! The LORD—he is God!”

One man's determination turned an entire nation back to God. Wow! This is the power of determination.

The enemy did same when God was determined to save the world through Christ Jesus. In Matthew 2:13, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word : for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him”.

Listen, the kingdom of darkness detests determined and focused Christians, because people of that breed of thinking accomplish big things for God. He himself knows the power of determination, depending on how it's used, you'd remember he once said “I will ascend and be like the most high”, and that prideful determination was what cost him his position in the presence of God as Lucifer, the shining one, and morning star.

In Acts 3:13-15, Peter narrated “how the Jews killed the Prince of Life, Christ Jesus, when Pilate was determined to let him go”. This implies truth that the enemy will always dreadfully confront with his nefarious games whenever he notices determination in an environment.

Paul later made an interesting Statement in Ephesians 1:15-16, stating that it was after he had heard of the determined faith of the saints in Ephesus that built up greater inspiration inside him to pray more for them more earnestly, and that's a wow.

Think about the correlation, He took prayer rather more seriously when he heard they were effective and determined in the faith. This he did with prior knowledge of what the enemy attacks, knowing satan hates a determined achiever like he did with the killing of Abel through Cain, and it's clear that this happens because a determined achiever pleases and mirrors who God is.

From today, make up your mind as a determined person, train yourself for the excellent life by doing what you say you will do, place premium on your words, accord it with all seriousness and don't ever give excuses : the voice of failure.

Stick to your words, start the training from there, then soon, it'll be so easy to practice whatever profession of faith you see in the scriptures, be it giving, prayer, fasting. They'll all become so easy for you with time. You're blessed and anointed, think like this everyday. O' Hallelujah, Wow!
