GO AND RAISE NATIONS

AMOS REPLIED : "I WAS NO PROPHET BEFORE, I RAISED CATTLE AND PRUNED TREES, THEN GOD TOOK ME OFF THE FARM AND SAID, “GO AND RAISE NATIONS”". WOW!

My dear, don't worry if they say you don't look qualified, don't worry if your words don't seem possible, don't worry my friend, never be distraught when you're reminded of limitations by present circumstances, don't worry when you're shoved to backseat and the grandstand, maintain that picture of greatness and see it occurring with you inclusive.

And in moments like that : just remember the words of Amos the prophet in Amos 7:14-15 |MSB, “I never set up to be a preacher, never had plans to be a preacher. I raised cattle and I pruned trees. Then GOD took me off the farm and said, "Go preach to my people Israel”.

Today, you may not look like the future you see, but don't ever give up, you may be looking over the flock as a Pastor of twenty people, but God is marking your faithfulness. One day, just one day, He'll amplify what was not considered relevant as a standard to the whole world. Amos said “I was not a preacher, I was just minding my business of taking care of animals, then God picked me up and set me up for bigger things in life”.

Never worry about how that big vision will happen, don't worry, just keep saying it everyday, declare it with all your heart and see yourself in the reality of those words. One day, and it wouldn't be long from today, they'll all happen and you'll be amazed at the goodness of God in your life. Wow!

Zechariah 4:10 |NLT instructs “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand ....”

Never despise little beginnings, learn it, everything little means it has a future, little doesn't mean it'd remain little. At this very moment, you may have had visions of yourself pastoring thousands, but at the moment you might be pastoring fifteen people, but never give up.

Your present position in the natural may just be to tend the flock as a Pastor like Amos led the herd, do it wholeheartedly and just stay committed. Mark my words, one day, just one day, a word will come to you from the Lord, and that word will elevate you from pastoring twenty souls to packing out a city.

Stay focused with what you have in your hand and mind, you're closer to doing big things than you thought. Stay faithful, and I declare to you today, that you'll pack out city centres, large halls and stadiums all around the world, that day will come if you'd only reach out with your words and believe.

It's just a matter of time. Bible says Joseph was tried until the time that His personal word came. Listen, yours will come and that will put tears of joy in your eyes. So stay faithful, God will so honor you, and in just one day you'll accomplish what is done in six decades, and it wouldn't be long from today.

Commit yourself to the word and trust it with all your heart. Lean on God, not your own strategies, because it was His word that lifted Amos from leading animals to leading nations. It was that same word that promoted Peter from catching fishes to catching men with the net of God's word.

When you're bound in the word and prayer, and you have nowhere else to turn, you'll learn to trust God because you have no where else to go.

Psalms 105:17-19 records,

“He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his (Joseph's) word came: the word (prophetic word) of the LORD tried (filled) him”

Joseph was bound with fetters and chains, and until the time that his personal word came, the word of the Lord tried him, the word of God kept him at one place until it was time to move. The book of Isaiah says “Those who believe are never in a hurry”, so relax and give yourself to the word of God.

And be like a child depending on his daddy to carry him up. Jesus would often call His Father “Abba”, an Aramaic term for “daddy”. So yes, depend on the word to raise you up, because in Him we live and move, indeed we have nowhere else to go if we would only see this reality today.

My dear, depend on the word, be like Amos and be patient where you are right now, stay committed to little things while you declare the future, and trust it with all your heart, then see the miracle of God's grace that'll gush out onto your life. Wow!
