A TRIGGER TO PUSH YOU FORWARD

NO CHALLENGE IS A WASTE, BUT RATHER A SHOOT, A TRIGGER TO PUSH YOU FORWARD | SO NEVER LET THE FIRES OF LIFE SMELL ON YOU | YOU'VE PUT ON CHRIST, LIKE YOU'D PUT ON A CHRISTIAN DIOR LUXURY PERFUME | THINK LIKE THIS, EVERYDAY

To begin with, Galatians 3:27 iterates something so important, it says, “For as many of you as have been baptised (positioned and dipped permanently) into Christ have PUT ON CHRIST”. Then in 2 Corinthians 2:14 |TLB, Paul now recounts, “But thanks be to God! For through what Christ has done, he has triumphed over us so that now wherever we go he uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Gospel like a SWEET PERFUME”

As a child of God, you'll go through the fires, but never let the smoke smell on you. This is the Hallmark of faith, commitment to the word (perfume) of God regardless. You're not exempt from challenges because you're a child of God. Actually, it's because you're a child of God that you'll face challenges, it's a shortcut to a life of Influence and great strength.

In Mark 10:29-30, while Jesus spoke these precious words to His disciples, He highlighted the promise and certainty of persecution. It reads,

“And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, WITH PERSECUTION ; and in the world to come eternal life”.

Throughout the bible, whenever God's people were burdened or persecuted, the next thing that happened was a supernatural growth and a great spreading. The pressures always triggered something totally unexpected.

In 2 Corinthians 8:1-3 |MSB, Apostle Paul wrote these words of encouragement to the saints in collose — “Now, friends, I want to report on the surprising and generous ways in which God is working in the churches in Macedonia province. fierce troubles (challenges) came down on the people of those churches, pushing them to the very limit. the trial exposed their true colors : .... THE PRESSURE TRIGGERED SOMETHING TOTALLY UNEXPECTED ..... . I was there and saw it for myself. THEY GAVE .... MORE THAN THEY COULD AFFORD!”

Right from the days of Pharaoh to the days where the church was greatly persecuted, it has always resulted in something big, wonderful and totally unexpected, the supernatural. From today, begin to see challenges as triggers that move you forward, never see it as a disadvantage.

Remember the Hebrew boys who were thrown into the fires of Babylon, and reminisce on the crowds they pulled just by the miracle of grace that rested on their lives. Listen, trust God's word and you'll never be common again, it'll make you a force and a wonder in your world.

Daniel 3:27 | ERV continues the train of thought in this wise,

“When they came out, the satraps, prefects, governors, and royal advisors crowded around them. They could see that the fire had not burned Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Their bodies were not burned at all. Their hair was not burned, and their robes were not burned. They didn’t even smell as if they had been near fire” .

Pass through the fires of life with gusto but never let it have power over you. Never give room for the contrary to display on the screen of your life. In Romans 8:18 |TPT, Paul assures the saints with candid expressions, he wrote “I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us”.

My dear, are you convinced like Paul was, are you convinced the fires will end, are you convinced it has no power over you. My goodness, if you could only see the end of all things in the word, it'll shape your thinking to rest in every situation.

Dress well, speak well, smell descent and be full of goodly words because you're a king. Never allow this world's challenges smell on you, overpower it with the right consciousness of how God sees you, overpower it with the aroma of Christ Jesus.

God's word says “They didn’t even smell as if they had been near fire”. O' Hallelujah. Wow!
