PITCH GOD’S DREAM, HIS BUSINESS, NOT YOURS
The Power of Words in the Finished Work of Jesus
My dear, do not pitch your own ideas and dreams to God — pitch His dream back to Him. The Greek word homologia means “to say the same thing as another.” In English, it is translated as confession. To confess, therefore, is to speak what God speaks — to talk God’s Word back to Him, because that is His dream for you.
Pitch the hide coverings — the finished work of Christ. Speak the Word and legislate what is written into your affairs. Isaiah 54:2, as translated in the Apostolic Bible Polyglot, exhorts us to “pitch the hide coverings (leather) of our curtains (conquest, loot, and spoils).” You obtain hide or leather only after a lamb has been slaughtered and its skin tanned. Jesus, the Lamb of God, has already been sacrificed.
Jesus expects you to pitch His hide coverings — His finished work and divine ideas — into every area of your life. This is the business idea to pitch all around the world, pitch the hide coverings, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and you'll do well. Toiling like Peter did isn't the way to wealth, the Word of God is, and Jesus demonstrated that by the net-breaking-boat-sinking miracle Peter experienced in a moment of time.
His Word declares that you have overcome the world (1 John 5:4), that you are no longer a sinner (Romans 6:11), and that you will prosper regardless of circumstances because greater is He who lives in you (1 John 4:4). Pitch these truths before the jury of spirits; speak words inspired by Scripture, and you will win the contract of parallel experience — Heaven’s realities made manifest on Earth. Pitch His finished works with words. This, indeed, is the law of expansion.
Faith takes care of you. Yet here lies the question: When the Son of Man returns, shall He find faith taking care of situations for you when you call upon Him in prayer? God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12), not over your feelings or circumstances. He prospers what is already at work; He does not invest in nothing. So, what do you have in your hand? Jesus said, “He that believeth hath” (John 6:47), meaning that faith always possesses something. That is what the Lord watches over to perform the supernatural in your life.
In essence, my dear, you may be looking at the wrong things as your source of supply. Through faith and patience, the elders obtained promises (Hebrews 6:12); faith took care of them, and it will take care of you too.
What you continually watch is where you are going, and the frequency with which you watch it determines how fast you will arrive. Therefore, be careful what you focus on. You have been served and warned aforetime. Believe this—truly.
